We are looking for energetic and friendly individuals to join us as Store Team Members / Sales Associates. This is the perfect entry-level role to launch your career, and no previous retail or food service experience is necessary. As a Store Team Member, you are the heart of our operation. You’re the friendly face at the register, the expert “Shista” (barista) crafting the perfect coffee, and the artist making our famous MTO sandwiches. You’ll be part of a fast-paced team dedicated to giving our customers the best possible experience, 24/7. If you have a positive attitude and love working with people, we want you on our team now!

What You Will Do

• Greet every customer with a genuine smile and provide fast, friendly, and accurate service at the sales counter.
• Become a certified “Shista” and expertly craft a wide range of specialty coffee and smoothie drinks for our customers.
• Prepare our famous Made-to-Order (MTO) food—from subs and burgers to our legendary appetizers—with a focus on quality and freshness.
• Keep our store looking fantastic by stocking shelves and coolers, brewing fresh coffee, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all customer sales accurately and efficiently using our modern point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Strictly follow all food safety and quality standards when preparing our delicious MTO food and handcrafted beverages.
• Proactively stock merchandise, cooler shelves, and food service supplies to ensure we are always ready for our customers.
• Perform routine cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and cleaning restrooms, to maintain our high standards of cleanliness.
• Work collaboratively as a team to ensure every customer leaves happy, satisfied, and looking forward to their next Sheetz run.
• Diligently adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those for safety and age-restricted sales (like tobacco and lottery).

Required Skills

• Excellent and friendly communication and customer service skills.
• The ability to work effectively and maintain a positive attitude in a very fast-paced environment.
• A strong sense of teamwork and a willingness to jump in and help out wherever and whenever needed.
• Basic math skills for accurately handling cash transactions and making change.
• A high degree of reliability, responsibility, and a strong work ethic.

• You must be at least 18 years of age to handle certain job tasks and work specific shifts.
• You must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
