Job Description

Halogen Group is conducting a large-scale, urgent hiring drive for vigilant, professional, and physically fit Security Guards for immediate deployment to our prestigious corporate client sites across Lagos. What You Will Do

• Secure our clients’ premises and personnel by diligently patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and inspecting buildings and access points.
• Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers when necessary.
• Maintain a constant and visible presence to deter illegal or inappropriate actions and provide a sense of security to clients and their staff.
• Prepare accurate, clear, and concise reports of daily activities and any incidents, such as equipment or property damage, theft, or the presence of unauthorized persons.

Key Responsibilities

• Control access at gates and entrances, verifying the identity of employees, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms and investigate disturbances in accordance with company protocols.
• Monitor and authorize the entrance and departure of individuals and vehicles to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
• Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent the passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
• Liaise with external emergency services, including the police and fire departments, during emergency situations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all activities, visitors, and incidents throughout your shift.
