Job Description/Summary

Get your forklift license for FREE and launch a skilled career in the essential logistics industry! Bok Seng Logistics has an immediate vacancy for Forklift Drivers to join our growing team in the Pioneer area. This is a unique opportunity for responsible and safety-conscious individuals. We welcome applications from both experienced, licensed operators and motivated trainees. If you do not have a license, no experience is required, as we will provide and sponsor your full forklift training and certification.

You will be a crucial member of our warehouse and yard operations team, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of heavy goods and materials. What You Will Do

• If you are a trainee, you will first undergo a comprehensive training program to learn how to operate a forklift safely and efficiently, leading to a nationally recognized license.
• Once certified, you will operate a forklift to perform key tasks like loading and unloading trucks and containers, and moving goods within our warehouse and yard.
• Conduct mandatory daily pre-operation checks on your assigned forklift to ensure it is in safe working condition before every shift.
• Skillfully stack and unstack pallets of goods, and transport materials to designated storage areas or production lines with precision and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate the forklift to move materials, goods, and equipment around the facility as directed.
• Accurately handle and record the movement of goods using our inventory management system.
• Adhere strictly at all times to all company safety guidelines, traffic management plans, and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations.
• Assist the general warehouse team with other operational duties, such as stock-taking, packing, and general housekeeping, when not operating the forklift.
• Immediately report any vehicle faults, potential hazards, accidents, or near-misses to the shift supervisor.
• Work closely and cooperatively with the warehouse team, truck drivers, and supervisors to ensure the smooth and timely flow of all goods.

Required Skills

• A strong sense of safety-consciousness is the absolute number one requirement for this role.
• Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
• The ability to work independently with focus and also as a cooperative member of a larger team.
• A high degree of reliability, punctuality, and a responsible and mature work ethic.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills in English to understand instructions and safety briefings.

Preferred Qualifications

• While no formal education level is strictly required, a secondary school education (GCE 'N'/'O' Levels or equivalent) is preferred.
• This position is open to Singaporean Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents (PRs) only.
• You must be physically fit, have good eyesight, and be able to work in a non-air-conditioned warehouse/yard environment.
• A positive attitude and a strong, unwavering commitment to workplace safety are the most important qualifications we are looking for.
