We are hiring now for a motivated and exceptionally organized Entry-Level Post-Production Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles. As a Post-Production Assistant, you will be the organizational backbone of our post-production teams, supporting Post-Production Supervisors and Coordinators on our world-renowned Original projects. You will learn the entire post-production pipeline from the inside out. What You Will Do

  • Provide essential administrative and logistical support to the Post-Production management team across a variety of Netflix Original projects.
  • Assist in tracking post-production progress, managing complex schedules, and distributing key assets to editors, sound mixers, and colorists.
  • Take meticulous, detailed notes during creative reviews (including spotting sessions, DI, and sound mixes) and ensure their timely distribution to all stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the final delivery of masters and Quality Control (QC) reports, ensuring all technical specifications and deadlines are met without fail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, maintain, and update post-production schedules, contact lists, and other crucial project documents.
  • Assist in the creation of purchase orders (POs) and the diligent tracking of vendor invoices for all post-production services.
  • Transcribe and distribute clear, concise, and actionable notes from various creative review sessions.
  • Manage the secure flow of media and assets between different internal departments and external vendors using platforms like Aspera and Content Hub.
  • Support the Quality Control (QC) process by reviewing reports and flagging potential technical or creative issues in final masters.
  • Handle general administrative tasks for the department, including scheduling high-level meetings and preparing presentations and reports.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Film, Television Production, Communications, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience, which can include internships at production companies, studios, or post-production facilities.
  • A foundational understanding of the post-production process, including editing, color correction, sound mixing, and VFX workflows.
  • General familiarity with industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro is a major plus.
