Automattic is hiring a Senior Influencer Marketing Manager to lead and evolve our influencer and creator strategy across all Automattic brands. This senior-level position combines strategic leadership, relationship-building, and campaign management in a fast-paced, creative, and global environment.

You will shape Automattic’s influencer partnerships, manage high-impact campaigns, and work alongside our PR & Social Team to tell brand stories that engage diverse audiences worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Automattic’s global Influencer Marketing Program and manage outreach, partnerships, and strategy.
  • Collaborate with PR & Social Teams to align influencer campaigns with Automattic’s brand storytelling.
  • Design, manage, and optimize influencer campaigns to drive brand visibility, product adoption, and growth.
  • Recruit, negotiate, and build long-term relationships with influencers across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and more.
  • Develop brand-specific creative briefs and campaign strategies for Automattic’s portfolio of businesses.
  • Manage contracts, timelines, approvals, payments, and reporting for all influencer activities.
  • Track and analyze KPIs, including engagement, conversions, and cost-per-acquisition (CPA).
  • Represent Automattic at WordCamps, industry events, and creator meetups to strengthen community relationships.

  • Proven track record of designing and executing global influencer campaigns.
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to spot trends, tell stories creatively, and adapt strategies across platforms.
  • Experience managing contracts, budgets, and performance metrics.
  • Self-driven, assertive, and comfortable working fully remotely.

Preferred Qualification

  • 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, creator management, or social strategy.
  • Prior experience managing campaigns for consumer, tech, or lifestyle brands.
  • Strong knowledge of emerging platforms and social-first brand building.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).
