As a Security Guard, you will play a key role in maintaining security and order, monitoring access to premises, and responding to security concerns as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol premises regularly to prevent and detect signs of intrusion.
- Control access to assigned premises and verify identity of visitors.
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or security incidents.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities and incidents.
- Ensure compliance with all company security protocols and procedures.
- Report any suspicious activity or potential threats to supervisors immediately.
- Assist in emergency situations such as fire, medical, or evacuation procedures.
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum of SSCE qualification.
- Prior experience as a Security Guard or in law enforcement is an advantage but not mandatory (training will be provided).
- Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods.
- Strong observation skills and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal).
- Must possess a valid means of identification and two guarantors.
