Salesforce is seeking a highly driven and experienced Regional Sales Strategy Lead to join our ASEAN Sales Strategy & Operations team. This high-impact role is designed for professionals who thrive at the intersection of sales strategy, business operations, and analytics. As a trusted advisor to senior ESMB sales leadership, you will play a critical role in shaping sustainable business growth, ensuring operational excellence, and driving a rigorous, data-driven Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy across the ASEAN region.

The Sales Strategy team at Salesforce is a high-performing, dynamic group that partners closely with executive leadership. Our mission is to monitor business performance, design GTM strategies, improve sales optimization, and ensure Salesforce’s rapid ASEAN expansion is both predictable and scalable.

In this role, you will collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Alliances & Channels, Sales Development, Finance, Marketing, Employee Success, and Operations. You will manage projects that span from highly strategic to operationally detailed, covering areas such as Go-To-Market planning, product playbooks, sales pipeline management, territory alignment, market segmentation, quota setting, and business performance reviews.

Key Responsibilities

As the Regional Sales Strategy Lead, ASEAN, your responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with senior executives to design and implement Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies.
  • Leading the annual sales strategy planning cycle, including account segmentation, resource allocation, territory assignment, quota setting, and compensation planning.
  • Driving forecast management excellence to ensure sustained and predictable growth, while coordinating weekly forecast calls with leadership.
  • Developing and executing operational models and leadership cadences, including quarterly and annual business reviews.
  • Creating executive-level presentations, translating complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Managing a portfolio of projects to identify revenue growth opportunities and optimize business operations.
  • Analyzing key business performance metrics, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Troubleshooting operational issues, recommending process improvements, and implementing changes to improve efficiency.
  • Leading cross-functional projects across multiple teams including Finance, Marketing, Sales Development, and Customer Success.
  • Handling ad-hoc requests from top management with speed, accuracy, and strategic thinking.

Desired Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of strategic thinking, analytical capability, and leadership. Specific requirements include:

  • Strong experience in sales strategy, business analytics, consulting, or finance in Southeast Asia.
  • Background working in a fast-paced, global SaaS/PaaS company preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex issues and originate new solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proven ability to deliver succinct executive presentations.
  • Flexible and resilient in handling changing demands and ambiguity.
  • Self-motivated, autonomous, and highly collaborative, with strong influencing skills.
  • Proven analytical expertise with the ability to conduct data-driven analysis and extract meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and Google Slides.
  • Experience with Tableau, Einstein Analytics, SQL, Business Objects, or Tableau CRM is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and business intelligence tools.
