Job Summary:

We are urgently hiring a Part-Time Janitor / Cleaner to help maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our café. This role is essential to creating a safe, hygienic, and enjoyable space for our college community. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and motivated to contribute to a positive student and guest experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure café areas, dining spaces, and surfaces are kept clean and sanitary

• Restock cleaning supplies and maintain inventory as needed

• Support basic café functions, including tidying service areas and refilling stations

• Assist with light maintenance tasks to ensure a safe and pleasant environment

• Provide friendly and respectful service to students, staff, and guests when needed

• Support front-of-house duties when required, such as serving simple food and beverages or assisting at the register

Required Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older

• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• No prior janitorial experience required – training provided

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a janitor, cleaner, or food service staff (preferred but not required)
