Our family is in urgent need of a warm, energetic, and reliable Part-Time Weekend Babysitter for an immediate start. We are searching for an experienced childcare provider to care for our bright and active 3-year-old son on Saturdays and occasional Sunday afternoons. This position is ideal for someone with proven toddler experience who is genuinely passionate about early childhood development and can create a safe, stimulating, and fun environment. The primary role involves active supervision, engaging in creative play, and managing his routine, including meals and nap time. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and interactive care for our 3-year-old son, ensuring his safety and well-being at all times.
  • Plan and engage in a variety of age-appropriate developmental activities, including arts and crafts, reading stories, puzzles, and outdoor play at local parks.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious and simple meals and snacks for the child, adhering to his dietary needs and our parental guidance.
  • Adhere to his established nap time schedule to ensure he is well-rested and happy.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties related to the child, such as tidying up toys, cleaning up after meals, and doing the child’s laundry as needed.
  • Provide parents with a summary of the day’s activities, including milestones, challenges, and memorable moments.

  • A genuine love for children and a deep understanding of toddler development stages.
  • Extremely reliable and punctual with excellent time-management skills.
  • A creative and playful spirit, with the ability to come up with engaging activities without relying on screen time.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with both the child and parents effectively.
  • The ability to remain calm, patient, and resourceful in any situation.

Preferred Qualification

  • At least 2 years of direct experience as a nanny or babysitter for toddlers (ages 2-4).
  • Current CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification is mandatory.
  • Verifiable positive references from at least two other families.
  • Early childhood education background or coursework is a significant plus.
