Job Description/Summary

Our family is urgently seeking an experienced, reliable, and engaging part-time nanny for an immediate start. This role is focused on after-school care for our two children, ages 8 and 10. We are looking for a true partner who can help manage the busy afternoon schedule, from school pickups to homework help and driving to extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate is a proactive and safety-conscious individual who genuinely enjoys spending time with school-aged children. You will be a vital part of our children’s daily lives, providing a stable and nurturing presence. Key Responsibilities

• Safely pick up both children from their school and transport them home or to various activities.
• Supervise and assist with homework, ensuring assignments are understood and completed.
• Prepare healthy and simple after-school snacks for the children.
• Drive the children to and from their extracurricular activities, such as sports practices or music lessons.
• Engage the children in fun and creative activities, encouraging outdoor play and limiting screen time.
• Perform light housekeeping duties pertaining to the children, including tidying play areas and helping them organize their school things.

Preferred Qualification

• A minimum of 2 years of consistent nannying or childcare experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, a reliable and insured vehicle, and a clean driving record.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification is required.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check and have excellent, verifiable references.
• Knowledge of the La Jolla/San Diego area is a plus.
