Job Overview

We’re looking for a Hotel Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our guests and make sure they enjoy a smooth, welcoming, and memorable stay. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and prior experience in hotel front desk operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Handle online and phone reservations, ensuring accurate bookings.
  • Provide guests with information on room options, rates, and hotel amenities.
  • Verify payment methods and process transactions securely.
  • Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and assign rooms appropriately.
  • Address guest complaints and resolve issues professionally and promptly.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean, well-maintained, and guest-ready.
  • Manage group bookings and organize special arrangements for VIP guests and events.
  • Promote additional hotel services and amenities when suitable.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of bookings, payments, and guest information.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hotel Front Desk Agent, Receptionist, or in a similar hospitality role.
  • Proficiency in hotel reservation software (e.g., Opera, Eazysoft, or similar).
  • Strong customer service orientation with a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • A degree in Hotel Management or a related field is an added advantage.
