Salesforce is seeking an experienced and ambitious Cloud Account Executive to join our Marketing & Commerce Cloud team, specializing in the Communications & Media industry. As an Account Executive, you will be more than a sales professional – you will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to executives and decision-makers, guiding them on how to leverage Salesforce’s Customer 360 platform to drive growth, engagement, and customer success. Your focus will be on connecting clients to our Marketing Cloud and Commerce Cloud solutions, enabling them to achieve their digital goals in a highly competitive and evolving business landscape.
This role involves the full sales cycle: identifying and qualifying opportunities, developing account strategies, building strong customer relationships, and closing high-impact deals. Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute comprehensive account strategies tailored to the Communications & Media industry.
- Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities for Salesforce Marketing & Commerce Cloud solutions.
- Conduct discovery sessions to understand customer challenges, business objectives, and digital transformation needs.
- Partner with C-level executives and key decision-makers to create long-term value and trusted relationships.
- Develop compelling value propositions and solution roadmaps aligned with customer use cases.
- Drive team selling efforts, leveraging Salesforce internal resources and external partners.
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineers, solution consultants, and industry experts to deliver strong client outcomes.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed on emerging industry trends, SaaS innovations, and competitive landscape.
- Represent Salesforce at industry events, conferences, and client presentations.
Desired Skills
- Strong consultative and solution-selling skills.
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including C-level engagement.
- Proven ability to build relationships with enterprise-level clients.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience in SaaS, cloud, or digital transformation.
- Previous experience selling CRM, Marketing, or Commerce technology.
- Understanding of the Communications & Media industry.
- Proven track record of exceeding quotas and closing enterprise-level deals.
- Familiarity with Salesforce products is highly desirable.
