A reputable hospitality establishment in Lagos is currently seeking Bar Attendants to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to start or build a career in hospitality, as free lodging is provided for successful candidates.
As a Bar Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced bar environment. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, mix, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
- Greet and engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure the bar area is always clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Check customers’ identification to verify legal drinking age when necessary.
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales.
- Follow all safety, hygiene, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
- Assist in setting up the bar before opening and closing duties at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate with other staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements & Skills
- Minimum qualification: SSCE or equivalent.
- No prior experience required – on-the-job training will be provided.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn.
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is an added advantage.
