Warner Records is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Artist Management Intern to join our Artist Relations & Management team in Los Angeles, CA. This paid internship offers an unparalleled opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the music industry, working directly with managers, label executives, and artists on the development and execution of creative strategies.

As an Artist Management Intern, you will support day-to-day administrative, logistical, and creative tasks related to managing active recording artists. You’ll gain exposure to contract management, tour planning, marketing campaigns, branding initiatives, and release strategies, making this the perfect role for anyone eager to launch a career in artist management, A&R, or music business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Artist Managers with daily operational tasks, including scheduling, email correspondence, and document preparation.
  • Coordinate logistics for artist activities, such as studio sessions, promotional events, and travel arrangements.
  • Support marketing and promotional campaigns, including social media planning, content creation, and data tracking.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and market opportunities to inform artist development initiatives.
  • Assist with tour planning support, including routing, budgeting, and advancing shows with production teams.
  • Track and maintain artist project timelines, ensuring deliverables are met ahead of release dates.
  • Prepare and organize materials for internal meetings and client presentations.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information regarding artist projects and contracts.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Passion for music and a strong interest in artist management, A&R, or entertainment business.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies is a plus.
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a music business, entertainment, or related program preferred.
