Job Summary:

We are urgently hiring 7.5 Tonne Collection & Delivery Drivers to join our Nottingham depot. This is a hands-on, full-time role with a supportive team and opportunities for career progression. If you’re motivated, customer-focused, and ready to start immediately, this role is perfect for you. No agency experience needed—full training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and collect parcels efficiently and safely on your assigned route (approx. 50–60 stops/day)

• Provide excellent customer service at all times

• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows/hand trucks (up to 25kg)

• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues

• Use handheld devices to track deliveries and update statuses

• Resolve customer queries and ensure a positive delivery experience

• Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies

• Collaborate with depot staff and other drivers to ensure smooth operations

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid 7.5T (C1) licence with DQC and CPC accreditation

• Clean driving record (maximum 3 penalty points)

• Strong time management and organisational skills

• Ability to lift and handle items up to 25kg safely

• Excellent communication skills and customer service focus

• Basic knowledge of handheld devices and software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience driving 7.5T vehicles is advantageous but not essential

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 1 year driving experience with 7.5T vehicles (preferred)
