Our family is urgently seeking to hire a dedicated, experienced, and professional full-time nanny for an immediate start. This is a live-out position based in our Upper West Side home, focused on providing exceptional care for our two children. We are looking for a long-term partner who is passionate about child development and can create a structured, educational, and joyful environment. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, organized, and loving individual who can manage the children’s daily schedules, from school pickups to engaging afternoon activities. You will be responsible for all aspects of their well-being, including meal preparation, educational play, and maintaining their routines. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, attentive, and safe care for our two children, prioritizing their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Manage the children’s daily schedules, including school drop-offs and pick-ups, and transportation to after-school activities.
  • Plan and prepare healthy, balanced, and appealing meals and snacks for the children.
  • Organize and engage in creative, educational, and age-appropriate activities, such as reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and museum visits.
  • Assist with homework and school-related projects, fostering a positive attitude toward learning.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties related to the children, such as their laundry, tidying their bedrooms and play areas, and organizing their belongings.

  • A deep and practical understanding of childhood developmental stages for ages 4-7.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills to juggle the schedules of two children.
  • A proactive and self-motivated individual who can anticipate the family’s needs.
  • Excellent, clear, and professional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to be both nurturing and firm, maintaining established household rules and discipline.

Preferred Qualification

  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a full-time nanny, preferably with verifiable long-term families.
  • A Bachelor’s degree, particularly in Early Childhood Education or a related field, is highly preferred.
  • Must have current CPR and Pediatric First Aid certification.
  • Must be willing to undergo a comprehensive background check and have glowing professional references.
