Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Bilingual Group Benefits Representative to serve as the first point of contact for our clients. In this role, you will provide accurate policy details, resolve inquiries, and support group benefits claims, ensuring a seamless customer experience in both English and French. This is a temporary position starting September 15, 2025 and running until January 1, 2026, offering a hybrid work arrangement in North York, ON.
Key Responsibilities:

Answer incoming calls regarding group benefits claims and provide accurate policy information.

Offer technical support and clear explanations to clients in both English and French.

Demonstrate patience and empathy when addressing customer concerns.

Maintain detailed records of client interactions and transactions.

Collaborate with team members to enhance service delivery and improve processes.

Educate members on benefits by applying knowledge of relevant industry programs and standards.

Investigate claims based on policy and industry guidelines, explaining payment decisions clearly.

Handle complex claims by consulting government programs, manuals, and underwriters.

Log onto busy phone queues while processing claims review requests.

Make outbound calls to providers and members for claim resolution.

Identify and address discrepancies between policy guidelines and claim processing.

Meet and maintain quality and quantity KPIs.
Required Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in group benefits claims or administration (asset).

Proven customer service experience with strong empathy and patience.

Bilingual fluency in English and French (verbal and written).

Excellent communication, organizational, and computer skills.

Strong attention to detail with advanced alpha and numerical typing skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

College diploma or university degree preferred.
